In this course students explore the nature of psychological abnormality, main models of mental and emotional disorders, their diagnosis and treatment. Etiology, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders. Emphasis is given on anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and related disorders, disorders of trauma and stress, disorders of mood, suicide, disorders featuring somatic symptoms, eating and substance-related disorders, sexual deviation and gender identity disorders, personality disorders, and disorders of childhood and adolescence, of aging and cognition.
