Designed to prepare pre-service teachers with the skills and knowledge of current flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and bassoon methodology, and to introduce the current methods of percussion pedagogy and literature in public and private schools materials and techniques needed to successfully instruct students in administration and classroom management in relation to the band/orchestra program to be discussed. Requisites:
MUSC-110 - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
